5/30/2012 – OptiCool Technologies Launches New Family of Refrigerant Pumps

May 30, 2012 - 7:32 pm
OptiCool Technologies is pleased to announce its highly anticipated RPC-210 refrigerant pump with indoor chiller and the RPW-210 its standalone refrigerant pump. Both of these units can provide up to 210 kW of sensible cooling.
The RPC-210 rejects heat from data center electronics to outdoor air condenses when there is no access to a chilled water system.
Some of its unique features:
-Digital scroll compressors
-Energy efficient outdoor air condensers
-Two piece design for flexible installation
-Supports above/below floor installations
-Up to a 350’ distance to the ADX/PDX units
-Standard ethernet connectivity
The RPW-210 proves cooling and rejects heat from the data center electronics to a building chilled water system.
Some of its unique features:
-Small cooling footprint
-Supports above/below floor installations
-Up to a 350’ distance to the ADX/PDX units
-Standard ethernet connectivity
Both of these pumps supply cold refrigerant to the ADX/PDX units within the electronics cabinets. They support high heat density cooling while being extremely energy efficient.
About OptiCool Technologies
OptiCool Technologies provides innovative refrigerant-based data center cooling solutions. OptiCool supports low- to high-density at 30 kW per rack total with 20 kW N+1 “rack level” redundancy. OptiCool supports the data center design of the future by eliminating the need for a raised floor, reducing the space allocated to cooling and reducing energy use by up to 95% versus conventional cooling.
